| The
moderna® Glueless Flooring System was developed for the professional installer
to help ease and improve installation. In doing this, we have managed to
create a product so simple to install that even the average "do-it-yourselfer"
can feel comfortable installing moderna Glueless Flooring with professional
results.
To make the installation even easier, an installation kit is available
with special accessories and tools such as: buffer block, light duty crow
bar, and spacer blocks.
In addition to the installation kit, a special underlayment, developed
for moderna Glueless Flooring is also available. Consisting of a 0.12" thick
polyethylene foam with closed cell structure and plastic top layer: it
is ideal for acoustic, heat insulation, permanent pressure and shock absorption.

moderna® Glueless Flooring underfloor system
To insure that installation of your floor goes quickly, easily and is
long lasting, the quality of the underfloor is very important. To eliminate
any minor unevenness (max. 0.04"/yard), you will need to use our special
underlayment installed over a plastic layer (available through your dealer).
This is necessary to keep your warranty valid. The underfloor itself is
covered with a smooth plastic layer allowing the flooring panels to slide
easily during installtion as well reducing friction when floor expands
and contracts.

The finished product!

Color sealant is available to hide any gaps in your floor. Use color
sealant in spaces between the floor and the wall (where edging strips
cannot be used) and around heating risers and other piping.
The Colorfill repair kit is also available to repair any other minor
damage to the floor.
For that professional look, matching molding is available to finish off
your floor.
Matching molding is available to accommodate any installation requirement.

Rest assured that any conceivable problem you might encounter installing
your floor has been simulated and addressed in our testing laboratories.

Molding
Wall molding in HDF ensures a neat, immaculate finish and are easy to
clean. They can be attached to the wall using nails or silicone, so that
the floor can move underneath them. If you screw them in place, they can
easily be removed again with no problem. For walls where molding cannot
be installed, or where there is already molding, we have horizontal finishing
profiles.

Profiles
We have two metal profiles: the end profile for installing where the
floor may stop suddenly for some reason, and the step profile. These
profiles are simple to install and leave no screw-heads visible. Adapter
profiles, expansion profiles and edge profiles come with a removable
but very flexible plug system. With the adapter profile differences in
height up to 1/2"
can be bridged.

Repair paste
Colorfill
Colorfill repair paste is designed to repair minor damage to the surface
of the floor. Dents and scratches can be removed. First, clean thoroughly,
for example with acetone (do not use thinners or solvents!), select the
right color, apply with the spatula and smooth, remove excess paste.

Sealing kit
Color sealant
This elastic paste is an acrylic-based product. Do not splash it with
water before paste is completely dry. Color Sealant retains its elastic
properties and can attach to porous surfaces even when dry.
